Secret Santa nail mail surprise!

If you don't already know, there is a fantastical group of girls on facebook better known as Polish-aholics Anonymous. For Christmas we did a Secret Santa nail polish swap-a-roo. How exciting!

I sent my gifts to the talented Claire at Purple Fairy Dust. But I received gifts from the lovely Charlotte! Both of these girl are not from the states, so i think that's pretty cool, yes? yes.

Here's what I received! 

Models Own Juicy Jules, and Jade Stone. A England Lady of the Lake (i wanted this one super bad, it was even on my amazon wish list!)

I also got 5 new stamping plates, i only had 2 before, so that's awesome! and lastly I got some nail art brushes which are super cool because i've been using old regular art brushes. gross, who does that?! (just kidding!) I can't wait to try them out! 

I swatched Lady of the Lake, so as soon as my computer at home decides to start working again... i'll post those!

Here's a quick photo of what i did for this weeks PAA monday challenge. 
I used Essie Turquoise and Cacos as the base color (which is like painting with water color btw, it's a 3 coater FOR SURE.)
The lines are made from two way nail art pen/brushes. i used the brush ends, and did each line of each color on each nail, and then picked a different color, and repeated. that way it got that cool weaved look.

I've been doing nail art...

I've been doing nail art....just not blogging about it! If anyone out there is on tumblr or instagram (@joycozart) i will most likely be more active there! just sayin. if you miss me. ya know...


here's what i did most recently. sorry this is just a phone pic. ;)

OPI Skull & glossbones, I eat mainley lobster, Sinfulcolors Envy, and black nail art brush.

I'm so happy that i purchased those two OPI's. i got them with gift cards and coupons! i never realized how great OPI is until i actually bought my own full sized bottles. the brushes are the RIGHT size, and application is perfect. it makes me all the more excited to pick up the Nicki Minaj collection. Now if only i could find The Muppets collection at ULTA!!
