Christmas Leopard is on the hunt...

...For presents!

I'm short on time today, lots of xmas stuff to get done.
BUT I did paint my nails, please see below!

OPI Skull and Glossbones, SH Black Out, Sinful Color Envy,
Butter London Come to Bed Red.

OPI's S&G is my favorite white alternative. it's not as stark as white, and personally white polish ALWAYS CHIPS on my nails. just don't like it :/

I used my smallest dotting tool for the black parts, and a medium sized one (about ball point pen sized) for the colored dots. yay!

I want to mention that i was inspired by this mani from Victoriac. Thanks for the inspiration! :D

Well, I hope you enjoyed this one! I'm feeling even more festive than before, but I can't wait to do some new years nails!!! can you say glitter bomb?!!

31 Day Nail Challenge: inspired by a song

Day 22: Inspired by a song. This is one of my favorite videos, and a really great song! i love all the bright colors shapes, and movement. Because of all the gradient in color i knew i wanted to use sponging. and because of all the crisp lines i knew i also needed to use tape.

What I used: Julep Cameron, Nabi Lavender, CC Red-ical Gypsy (har har), CC New Bohemian, Essence Chuck, Essence Mellow Yellow, Sally girl white.
Ring finger sorta looks like boba fett.

Silly me. i had ran out of tape...and things got... complicated.

But i made the most of it!

I think the pointer and pinky are my favorites.

I am totally and completely disappointed in myself on this one. :( i redid my middle finger about 6 times, and by the last time it was approaching 11 pm, and i was like "screw it!" Sorry. but... manicures shouldn't take 5 hours. (there was a trip to Target (Bubble wrap!) somewhere in there, but i know that only took half hour.)

31 day challenge: Polka Dots

Day 11: Polka Dots! When i think polka dots i instantly think of the 50's. poodle skirts, saddle shoes and other various retro elements. So i went with what i was inspired by and ended up with a cute little poodle on my nails. isn't he adorable? everyone say 'awww!'
What i used: Kleancolor Pastel Pink, Butter LONDON Come to bed red.

what up poodle, it's yer birfday.

I had never painted a poodle before, but it's really just 3 dots and a blob.
Then you connect them all together, add a snout and your done!
(no really i practiced this poodle on paper like 6 times, it was hard!)

so what do you think of my 50's inspired nails for Day 11?

31 day challenge: Red

Day 1 - red nails:
I have to admit i didn't own a red nail polish when i did this day's challenge, so i borrowed Silken Cord from my sister. I don't normally like essie and i don't normally like red. but it went on so well, and the end result was really gorgeous.

Ombre nails!

Quick little post. It turns out I got 1 picture of my ombre nails on my camera before it died, i wasn't sure or not. So here's a better picture from last weeks ombre mani. I still want to try one in purple, my favorite color!
What color would you want to do an ombre in?

Harry Potter Nails

Here are my nails for the upcoming HP movie. I didn't have a good gold, so i used a yellow and put a sheer gold with sparkles over it. it had lots of layers, lots of drying time, lots of do-overs.
The red is actually a mini holiday OPI color, but the bottle was so small i just held a similar color. ha! anyway,  it gets the point across.
